Shadows of Eldertide

Become Elyra Stormrider, and travel into the realms of Ithoria in Shadows of Eldertide, on the quest to find the Shadow Amulet. This portfolio project represents two months of dedicated effort, aimed at advancing my game programming skills in C++ using Unreal Engine 5.

Key Features:

• Combat Mechanics: Engage in strategic sword fights and masterful dodging to conquer various adversaries.
• Multiple Enemy Types: Encounter a diverse array of foes, including wolves, Morak guardians, and the colossal Kraken, each with distinct abilities and challenges.
• Quest System: Navigate the intricate quest system equipped with a quest tracker and objective completion notifications for a seamless gaming experience.
• XP Progression: Build your character's experience as you navigate the quest, although a skill tree is yet to be developed.
• Health and Gold Pickups: Collect health boosts to stay in the game, although gold currently serves no in-game purpose.
• C++ Integration:  All major components of the game are developed in C++, except for the quest system, which utilizes Unreal Engine Blueprint.
• Engaging Storyline: Immerse yourself in a captivating narrative as Elyra Stormrider embarks on a quest in the mystical world of Ithoria.
  
• Dungeon Delve: Explore treacherous dungeons in search for the Shadow Amulet.
  
• Epic Boss Battle: Test your skills in a climactic showdown against the massive Kraken, guardian of the island's waters.
